Community Engagement & Marketing Specialist

Under the supervision of the Associate Vice President, Marketing & Communications, the Community Engagement & Marketing Specialist will develop and curate relationships with supporters of AIHS and increase community awareness through outreach, exhibits, presentations & social media. This position is located in Fort Wayne, IN but serves northeast Indiana including limited day travel to Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wells & Whitley counties. Summary of Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop original written content for marketing materials such as: powerpoint presentations, public speaking, flyers & social media
  • Develop relationships with community stakeholders, providers and supporters of the agency
  • Act as community liaison at regional exhibits & presentations
  • Assist in all communications efforts of the agency
 Required Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in communication, marketing, business, or like degree; a minimum of two-years’ experience in professional setting Preferred ExperienceExperience using Adobe Creative Suite; experience working with the older adult population Agency work hours are typically 8:00am-4:30pm Monday – Friday.
